This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hi just wanted to say i love how you work paint, your images all seem so dynamic. If it's not too much trouble i was wondering if you might mind seeing if you can offer any pointers/ideas for any of my paintings, as i feel i could really benefit from working my canvasses more.
Firstly i really appreciate the compliment. I gotta say i admire how you can do portraits! never something ive found i can keep trying at. where in the uk you from? im certainly not gonna tell you to look at any particular subject, but do you just try stream of thought stuff? like working without anything to work from? and use the free for all to experiment? i know that might sound odd, but you end up with much different results, and then you can take the new ideas alongside previous approaches. sorry if im talking a load of shite =] other than that i find if im in a rutt i paint on something different. i used canvas/paper etc in my last course, but now i paint on wood. which artists are you interested in? frank.
Thanks frank, i'm actually doing a painting all from my head as we speak (well i started it 2 weeks ago and haven't touched it since, but i've been busy with other things rather than uninspired), it really is a totally different challenge, i feel like i've cheated in quite a few of my paintings as i mostly work from photos, so i'm working from someone else's composition which i know already works. hmm... been a while since i really experiemented... might try some wild colours, feel i need to break ofut of the safe monochrome feel. i'm from oxford, and i'd probably say giacometti is the artist whos work interests me most, but anyone with strong structure, and powerful application of paint does it for me..
